Khurasani/ Khorasani Goat
Khurasani goat is a medium-sized breed. This breed is
predominantly black in color but occasionally some other colors are also found
like gray, brown, and off-white. This breed has long and shining hair. The doe
has well-developed udder and teats. It is one of the best-registered goat
breeds in Pakistan and is found in Quetta, Loralai, Zhob, and Chagi in the
Balochistan Province of Pakistan. The average weight of the bucks is about 30
kg and the doe is about 25 kg.

The Khurasani goat is loving to her soul and take care of herself, can find
vegetation and water. Always lead other livestock towards water and vegetation.
Close to wild ancestors and highly resistant to diseases and can travel
long. The goat also produces pashmina, but the importance of pashmina is
not yet being realized. The hair is used for making ropes and tents. The does
