Pateri Goat Breed
Pateri goat breed is a beautiful goat breed found in the district of Hyderabad, NawabShah, KhrePur, Tandu-Adam, Shadad Pur, and Sanghar in Sindh Pakistan. Its body color is patched in dark brown and white. Most of its body color is white but the front of this breed consists mouth, neck, and ears are dark brownish. Its ears are long and dropping. It is raised on both purposes milk and meat.
Special Consideration
These
goats are very fitted to keep them at home and on farms; easily resist hot and
moderately cold weather. The doe on average produces1.5-2.0 liters of milk
daily on normal fodder. Buck and doe gain 70 and 45 kg of weight on normal
