Pateri goat breed is a beautiful goat breed found in the district of Hyderabad, NawabShah, KhrePur, Tandu-Adam, Shadad Pur, and Sanghar in Sindh Pakistan. Its body color is patched in dark brown and white. Most of its body color is white but the front of this breed consists mouth, neck, and ears are dark brownish. Its ears are long and dropping. It is raised on both purposes milk and meat. Special Consideration These goats are very fitted to keep them at home and on farms; easily resist hot and moderately cold weather. Labri Goat Breed

This breed is found Jhelum, Leepa and Neelam valleys of Muzaffarabad district and Poonch district in Azad Kashmir of Pakistan. This goat breed’s main and prominent color is black but some have patches of light grey or brown. They are fairly large sized breed. The head is large with long ears. Both males and females have long thick horns. Its Milk yield is 1.25 litres per lactation day on normal fodder. Adult males and females weigh 48 and 40 kg respectively on normal fodder. Annual fleece weight in this breed is more than 1-2 kg. Labri goats are raised for meat, milk and hair. Special Consideration This goat breed is mountaineer and cold atmosphere. This goat breed is best fitted for farming in houses and grazing areas in cold atmosphere for milk, meat, and hair purpose. Kooti goats are found in Almut, Kail, and Shonther in Azad Kashmir of Pakistan. This breed has black and white patches on their body. The body, head, and ears are small. Their small horns are spiraled. The legs are short and sturdy . Milk yield is 0.7 liters daily on normal fodder. Adult males and females weigh 20 and 15 kg respectively. Koh-e-Ghizer Goat Breed

                                                   This breed is named due to its area name “Ghizer” is the North most of the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Ghizer District is a very very beautiful area in Pakistan. The Ghizer District’s highest peak is Koyo Zum (6,871 m) (Hindu Kush Range) which lies on the boundary of Ghizer District. Koh-e-Ghizer breed is medium in size. Their color is black with white patches on the belly and brown rings around the eyes. The head is small and the ears drooping. Males are horned and most females are polled. Milk yield is 1 liter daily on normal fodder. Adult males' and females' weight is 40 and 35 kg, respectively.   Special Consideration These goats are best fitted for nomad grazing areas in the very cold atmospheres for meat purposes. Kali Goat Breed

Kali goats are hardy and found in the hills/ mountains of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Himalayan region of Pakistan. Its main color is black. This is a small-sized breed with normal legs and short drooping white ears splashed with black. Males and females are both horned. Milk yield is 0.6 liters daily on normal fodder.
