Teddy means “small, so the name of this breed calls/known as Teddy. Teddy goat is a small-medium-sized breed. This breed is available in multi colors and has a well-developed small body. The one more prestige of this breed is a short cycle of birth as compared to other breeds in Pakistan. So it is a more productive and rapidly growing breed for meat purposes. This breed has medium hair, short hanging, and straight ears. They have straight little backward horns. The doe has not well-developed udder but teats. It is one of the best-registered fast-growing goat breeds in Pakistan and is found in the Gujrat, Jhelum, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi districts in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Dera Din Panah, a town in the Muzaffargarh district of Pakistan. So the name of this breed belongs to the name of this town. Dera Din Panah goat is a medium-large sized breed. The goats are mainly black in color and have a well-developed body. They have long hair, long hanging, and twisted ears. They have spiral horns. The doe has well-developed udder and teats. It is one of the best-registered goat breeds in Pakistan and is found in Muzaffargarh and Multan districts in Punjab Province of Pakistan. The average height of the bucks is about 81 cm, and 70 cm for the does. The bucks on average weight about 61.7kg and the average body weight of the does are about 40.9kg. Nachi Goats are heavy-sized having a compact body usually black but sometimes having black and white spotted color. Skin course, short and rough hair; medium head with a Roman nose. Horns are small and thin with medium ears. The udder is not very well developed. Twin births are common. These goats are raised for mutton and milk. Nachi goats are found in the Bahawalpur, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, Layyah, and Jhang districts of the Punjab provision of Pakistan.
