Nachi or Bikaneri Goat
Nachi Goats are heavy-sized having a compact body usually black but sometimes having black and white spotted color. Skin course, short and rough hair; medium head with a Roman nose. Horns are small and thin with medium ears. The udder is not very well developed. Twin births are common. These goats are raised for mutton and milk. Nachi goats are found in the Bahawalpur, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, Layyah, and Jhang districts of the Punjab provision of Pakistan. On average the weight of the buck is about 40 kg and the doe is about 35kg; in milk is 1 to 1.5 liter.
