breed mainly found in Kotli and Mirpur of Azad Jammu & Kashmir
Pakistan. This native goat breed is physically characterized by color
black,
long
hair,
medium ears, long
horns,
short legs and single/twins births. The
average rate of female(Doe) birth is comparatively higher than other
breeds.
The average build weight ranges from 25-20
kg on normal fodder.
Special
Consideration
These
goats are best fitted to the commercial
goat
farm and grazing areas in cold mountain areas for
meat and hair purpose. The doe on the average produces 0.5
