Jarakheil Goat Breed





Jarakheil goat breed is a large size breed mainly found in Chilas Valley in Diamir district and Azad Kashmir of Pakistan. This native goat breed is physically characterized by color black with white patches, long hair, medium ears, long horns, short legs and single/twins births. The average build weight ranges from 52-42 kg on normal fodder.
Special Consideration

Jattan Goat Breed

This breed is named after the camel-raising tribes of Jats in Sindh. Jattan goats are found in the irrigated areas of Mirpur-Khas district bordering Thar desert of Pakistan. Jattan goat breed is a very beautiful breed. Their color is fawn, red or black. This is a large-sized breed with long legs. The medium drooping ears are white and splashed with fawn, red or black. Males have a black ring around the base of the neck.
