Damani Goat










Damani goat is a medium sized breed. This breed is predominantly black with tan head, body, and legs but also found in gray and brown colors. This breed has medium hairs. The doe has a well-developed udder with small teats. It is best-registered goat breeds in Pakistan and is found in Dera Ismail Khan and Peshawar Districts of KPK Province of Pakistan. The average weight of the bucks about 35 kg and the doe is about 30 kg.

Jattan Goat Breed

This breed is named after the camel-raising tribes of Jats in Sindh. Jattan goats are found in the irrigated areas of Mirpur-Khas district bordering Thar desert of Pakistan. Jattan goat breed is a very beautiful breed. Their color is fawn, red or black. This is a large-sized breed with long legs. The medium drooping ears are white and splashed with fawn, red or black. Males have a black ring around the base of the neck.
