Kamori Goat




Kamori goats are easily categorized by their body type, color, and beautiful look. This breed is famous for its distinctive body structure with long ears, neck, and unique colors. Kamori breed has a large body and a very distinctive coat color. Body of the pure Kamori goat’s breed is dark brown with small coffee-colored or dark patches over their whole body. They have a long and well-developed body. Udder and teats of the Kamori doe are fairly developed. On average the weight of the buck about 60 kg and the doe about 50 kg; in milk is 1.8 to 2.2 liter.

Jattan Goat Breed

This breed is named after the camel-raising tribes of Jats in Sindh. Jattan goats are found in the irrigated areas of Mirpur-Khas district bordering Thar desert of Pakistan. Jattan goat breed is a very beautiful breed. Their color is fawn, red or black. This is a large-sized breed with long legs. The medium drooping ears are white and splashed with fawn, red or black. Males have a black ring around the base of the neck. Males and females are both horned. Milk yield is 3 liters daily on normal fodder. Adult males and females weigh 60 and 50 kg, respectively.   Special Consideration These goats are best fitted for commercial goat farms and grazing areas in hot areas for meat and milk purposes.
